Our mission here at Par Four Performance is to deliver the best-quality training experience possible to guide you towards your desired goals. Below is a list of the services we provide that will help you achieve these goals as you Drive Fitness Forward.
At Par Four Performance, we firmly believe that everybody needs a coach. Both of us outsource our workout programs to other fitness professionals. Having somebody else write your programs challenges you in ways you simply will not challenge yourself. Being held accountable also ensures that you're always putting forth your best effort on a daily basis.
Using a combination of Functional Range Conditioning (FRC) and the Functional Movement Screen (FMS) , we will evaluate your readiness for exercise and discover movement limitations that may need to be addressed to make sure you stay pain-free while improving your performance.
Based off our assessment findings, we’re able to create an individualized program tailored to your needs. With this information, alongside your desired performance and health goals, we’re able to develop a program that will help you achieve results.
Did you know lower back pain is the number one reason why golfers give up on the sport they love? It doesn't have to be this way.
Have you been working on improving your slice this past year? Regardless of what swing exercise you try, it remains a common fault in your swing. There's a possibility that your swing isn't the issue.
In order to swing a club efficiently, your body must have adequate range of motion and control. This is what we deem the Body-Swing Connection, and it's the way our mobility correlates to different aspects of the golf swing.
During our golf assessment, we will take you through a 16-test movement screen that tests your body's readiness to swing a club. This is quite often an overlooked aspect of golf performance; there’s no swing drills that exist that will improve the way you control your anatomy. By dissecting your movement deficiencies through screening, you will understand what the next step is to take your swing to the next level and Drive Fitness Forward.
Kinstretch is defined as a movement enhancement system that develops maximum body control, flexibility and usable ranges of motion.
So, what exactly does this mean?
Unlike other common methods of flexibility training, such as yoga and passively stretching muscles, Kinstretch focuses on gaining control of your passive flexibility by using our muscles to attain improved mobility. Rather than depending on gravity, it requires us to use muscular contractions to achieve new ranges of motion. This serves two purposes: improving usable ranges of motion and strengthening these newly acquired ranges.
Kinstretch uses the principles and philosophies of Functional Range Conditioning (FRC) in a group-class setting. Having prerequisite mobility helps decrease your risk of injury while improving your movement potential. This provides you the freedom to golf, exercise, and play with your children pain-free. Limited mobility isn't due to age, and Kinstretch will show you how this is true.
